Free Ground Shipping:

Offer valid on purchases of qualified items: these items will be indicated with a note in their content.  The note "Qualifies for Free Shipping" indicates that it is one of the select products that can receive Free GROUND shipping if all requirements of the discount are met.  To receive Free Ground Shipping, your shopping cart total must meet the current discount code dollar amount and product requirements: taxes and items not marked as “Qualifies for Free Shipping” do not count towards the total sale amount.

If your shopping contains both items that do and don’t qualify for Free shipping, there will be shipping charges only for those items that are not qualified for free shipping.

To receive free shipping on orders, please enter the discount code at the time of purchased.  Once your order is placed the discount code cannot be used retro-actively.

The Pastry Depot reserves the right to select the shipping method and carrier. Currently do to a website limitation our shopping cart displays all shipping methods as being “Free”, however only GROUND shipping will be used in conjunction with the discount code offer.  If you select items that require a faster shipping method, please do not use the discount code and select your desired shipping method.

Products that are typically excluded: Out of stock products, products with quantity limits, Large/Irregular products, products weighting more than 10 lbs, products marked “must be purchased in store”, frozen products or products that require expedite shipping.

Cannot be combined with any other offer such as sale items, only one discount code can be used per order.

Note: Items may not be shipped to Alaska and Hawaii using free shipping.



Shipping is available in the U.S.A. only, regretfully we are not able to ship internationally.

Shipping charges are subject to change and may include sales tax depending on the State.

The Pastry Depot is not responsible for incorrectly entered shipping addresses. Any additional costs incurred due to an incorrect address will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

We are unable to ship to PO Boxes or to APO and FPO locations.

Currently we ship orders Monday-Friday and we make every effort to ship orders within 24 hours of order placement.  All orders placed after 2pm EST, on the weekends or holidays will ship the next business day.

We offer various shipping methods to include ground, priority, 2nd Day Air and Next day Air.  Please note that UPS does not make deliveries on Saturday unless it is requested and requires extra fees.  If you need expedite, overnight Saturday service, please contact us.  

If your cart contains items that must be shipped ground due to shipping carrier restrictions, if possible we will try to split the order into two different shipping methods.  However we reserve the right to ship your entire order through ground shipping, even though you have requested another delivery method. 

If you do request an order to be sent by Next Day Air we cannot be responsible if the carrier does not deliver as you expected, and shipping charges will not be refunded. Delivery time are estimates given by the carrier and we are not responsible for any delivery delays.

The number of days in transit does not include the day you placed your order.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of chocolate, The Pastry Depot cannot be held responsible for any chocolate melting during transit and after delivery if the order is placed with a shipment method other than Next day Air.  Contact us directly prior to purchasing if you have any questions.

When ordering chocolate to be delivered to known hot locations or during warm weather months, some melting may occur during transit and/or after delivery when left outside.  Chocolate orders are not shipped over the weekend due to hot conditions of shipping carriers. 

If placing an order than contains a combination of items that must be shipped overnight (i.e. chocolate) and items that can be shipped at ground speed, please place two separate orders.  This will help reduce the cost of shipping to you.







*** These shipping times are only estimates provided by the shipping carrier, other factors can preclude these delivery estimates from the carriers such as weather and mechanical problems and should only be taken as an estimate.  The Pastry Depot is not held responsible for any deviations from the estimated delivery times.



Also if you need something in a pinch and don't have time to wait for a delivery, place your order online for in-store pickup and we will have it ready for you within the hour.  Or you can just stop in and purchase what you need at will. 



We provide local delivery within 30 miles of our store to Professional Chefs currently working in the industry.

We also provide in-store check out priority for our Professional Chefs, since we know you need your items immediately. 



Unfortunately we can not accept returns of food items or opened/partially consumed items. We just don't feel comfortable reselling a food item that has not always been in our control.

We regularly receive product from our suppliers to provide the freshest available products to our customers.  Due to the nature of food products we will personally guarantee all food products within 30 days of their expiration dates.  If by chance we mistakenly ship a product that is within 30 days of it's expiration date we will be glad to exchange the product for you.  Please contact us so that we can initiate an exchange.

We can accept returns of Non-food items as long as you contact us within 24 hours of having received your order. We will be happy to arrange for a return of the product if that product is still in its original packaging and has not been used.

To make sure that you are satisfied with the product you receive, inspect the contents as soon as they arrive. 

Once the items have been received back at our store, the items will be inspected. Items need to be in perfect resellable condition in order for us to issue store credit on the return. A credit for the cost of the item will then be issued to your account, less shipping.  All returned items are subject to a $5 or 20% restocking fee, whichever is greater.  Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same original payment form.  Please allow 7-10 business days to see a credit on your credit card.

All sales of food items, holiday items and books are final.



We take all measures possible to assure your order is received intact and in proper condition. Sometimes though the route to you gets a bit more bumpy than anyone can control. In the event that you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us immediately after receiving your order. Do not throw anything out or discard any items, as we may require them to be sent back. The easiest way to help us resolve any defective or damaged merchandise is to take a picture of the item and then email it to us at Please then call us at 404.458.3194. Depending on the issue, order issues may be resolved with a replacement product being issued, a store credit, or any other means we feel is appropriate.
